SCHOOL IS FOR LOSERS/ME
Hey, School is back in and It’s my last year at ACAD. So before I get too busy or too sleepy I have a couple things to post up here. This is a sample of a couple projects that are in progress right now.
I have to do a protagonist and antagonist portrait for a figure illustration class. Here’s the protagonist, Scotty Smalls, from the movie The Sandlot.
Next up is a corporate illustration project. This whole thing is getting dumped in favor of a better concept. But I put a little work into it so I thought I’d at least show what I came up with. The illustration is about an article on plastic surgery and how there are plastic surgery offices that are offering loans to their patients for their new look. Creepy.

I think you have a real talent for editorial illustration. Ok, you have a real talent for all sorts of illustration. Can’t wait to see the rest of your output this year!

wow. i really like the plastic surgery one. the butcher/piggy bank analogy works perfectly. plus it just looks fantastic. word indeed
